The Man of the House

“I wanted a 3rd bedroom which I could not afford. So thought why don’t’ I convert (my) 2nd bedroom into a multi-purpose one. When I looked for choices, Futur Decor looked to be a great choice. “  Mr.Vignesh E, Whitefield., Bangalore.

These are the exact words of our very esteemed client Mr. Vignesh who lives in a 2BHK apartment with his family of three. And like any concerned parent he didn’t want to restrict his child’s movement in the house by not providing him a place of his own, and at the same time as a dutiful son have one this room /  bed room also available to his parents when they visit him.

A Stone that Kills Two Birds

Our Indian cities may  not be clean, but our Indian homes are. In fact, you will hardly find a home which is not spotlessly clean or a homeowner who doesn’t want to keep his home spotless.

Cleanliness becomes an issue when we can’t reach every nook and corner of our home, simply because there are furniture which can’t be manipulated all the time. And for those with OCD (ask us, we know a few!) it becomes a great challenge.

However, this was not a thought that we gave while designing our Invisible bed. We didn’t think that besides opening up your home and your rooms to more space, our invisible beds are just perfect to keep your homes clean and spotless as well… Until we met Mr. Sudarshan Reddy, that is.

Mr. Reddy came to us because he thought it is a very clever idea to have Invisible bed at home as it will help him keep his house clean!  

And that he can quickly convert the room into his gym or a guest room or even a party room was like killing two birds with one stone (we are strong believer of non violence, so we won’t really kill any birds or anything for that matter) !

The Company We look Up To!

Let us tell you about a company who truly cares about their employees.

And let us tell you what the company did for their employees, recently.

The company has a wellness room at their Embassy Tech office, ORR. The room, which measure to 9.0ft x 9.0ft, is actually supposed to be a multipurpose room for their employees.

However, with size being the constraint, the company had to put their thinking cap on to see how they can truly convert this space as multipurpose and multi-use.

After plenty of internet searches, the company found out about Futur Décor and got hooked to the idea of a wall bed for their wellness room.

So, how are they using this room now?

Our Weakness is our Biggest USP!

We were sitting around in our office on a Friday evening talking about our weaknesses and we counted them in our fingers:

1. We are a small company
2. We are still unknown to many people
3. We don’t have big bucks (for massive advertisements to change point 2)
4. We don’t run an assembly line
5. And so on…

When the discussion was turning a little depressing, someone shouted excitedly and said, “Hey! aren’t these also the reasons why we are what we are?” 

“Really?” everyone else must have thought that at the same time.

“Ok! Ok! Let me explain,” he said rather enthusiastically. “See we are small, therefore we attend to each and every customer’s need personally. We are unknown to people and therefore, we make sure our products talk for themselves and are never a letdown. And since we don’t have big bucks for massive advertisements we spent all our time, effort, energy and money is doing what we are best doing at – that is designing invisible beds. ” He elaborated happily. “Besides, we can create customized invisible bed based on our customers’ specific requirements only because we don’t run an assembly shop.” He concluded.

Ah! now that’s so true!

What our customers need from us is not only an efficient space management system, but a supremely safe one as well. After all, it’s their family – children, parents, wife or husband, who will be using them all the time. Would they risk it, if they thought even for a moment that our solutions could be risky?

We remembered that we had still not launched our product after 8 months of being ready with it because we wanted to be 100% sure that what we take out of our factory is the best thing that we could produce – in terms of quality, durability, safety and functionality.

We give 10-years warranty for our Hydraulics Lift Assist System with free replacement during these years and zero maintenance  cost.

All components are fabricated in-house under strict quality supervision by using branded hardware.

The Locking systems for our Invisible beds come with maximum safety measures.

We source our basic raw material  - well-calibrated 18mm plywood - and Greenply MDF, the market leader in India, use T-nuts for joiners and give 3 years warranty for wood structure.

Therefore, an Invisible Bed can take up to 250 kgs of load while in use and can be disassembled and assembled as many times as may be required by the client, while at the same time providing the safest solution available in the market – making it safe even for your children.

After all, our invisible bed is just like the conventional bed when it is not used in its ‘space saving’ mode :)

Hey! I got two playrooms at Home!

This is not the story of Mr. Unnikrishnan Chakyat.

This is about his vision; about how he transformed two of his bedrooms in his 3BHK apartment, into an efficient and smart space, keeping in mind the diversified objectives that these bedrooms are expected to serve. Ok! that sounds complicated ! Let’s break that down J

Mr. Unnikrishnan lives in a 3BK upscale apartment with his wife and his little girl. At the moment, Mr. Unnikrishnan  and his small family of three share the master bedroom, as his daughter is still too young to stay separately. However, as a prudent father, he knows that she would very soon need her own living space and he wanted to be absolutely ready when that moment comes.

Also, in the meantime, as small child, the daughter needs to have sufficient space to play within the house and stay within their sight. Yes, the modern apartment complexes these days do have playing areas for children, but nothing beats a doll house or a lego building for a growing child as an indoor activity.

What’s the solution then?

As we mentioned earlier, Mr. Unnikrishnan lives in a 3BHK apartment. And the third bedroom is kept as his parents’ room cum guestroom, as his parents don’t live with him, but visit him from time to time.

So Mr. Unnikrishnan came with a very simple yet a profoundly effective one.

He got in touch with us to convert both his kid’s room and the guest-cum-parents’ room into an i-Room.
